Asian Pacific Community Counseling (APCC) information provided by: the Sacramento County Mental Health Division

Mental health services by paraprofessional staff to the Chinese, Filipino, Hmong, Japanese, Korean, Pacific Islander, and Vietnamese communities. Office or home visits, short-term counseling, referral services, consultation to other agencies working with Asian/Pacific clients, assessment, case conference, discharge planning, and co-counseling. Health and safety education and prevention programs including substance abuse, violence and crime prevention; education services for parents of children 0 - 5; bicultural and bilingual services in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Tagalog, Tongan, and Southeast Asian languages (Hmong, Vietnamese) to youth and their families. Information educational workshops, discussion groups, brief counseling, office or home visits, and referral services. Youth leadership development, tobacco education and cessation services in Korea and Vietnamese. Uses volunteers for long-term projects or one-time service. Interpretation and translation services.

Hours:
Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Fees:
Sliding scale fee for services.

Appointment preferred, telephone or walk-in.

Eligibility Requirements:
Asian/Pacific Islanders.
